Ava C. Cipri is a non-binary queer writer, educator, and activist in Pittsburgh, PA, who co-found and serves as poetry editor for The Deaf Poets Society: An Online Journal of Disability Literature & Art. A Pushcart, Best New Poets, and Best of the Net nominee, Ava has two chapbooks: Leaving the Burdened Ground (Stranded Oak Press, 2018) and Queen of Swords (Dancing Girl Press 2018). She holds an MFA from Syracuse University and takes Carlow University's Madwomen in the Attic Workshops, where she runs in the company of other Mads.
